Welcome, I am Carly the face behind Carly Does Ceremonies.
Storytelling has been at the centre of my career for years. Before becoming a celebrant, I spent more than a decade working in film and television. I saw first-hand how the right story can make people laugh, cry and connect. I found that the stories people remember most are always the ones that feel honest.
I’ve read countless scripts and watched up-close on-set as BAFTA winning actors and directors worked on making the story transcend the screen and move people. Where I learned just how powerful words, timing and delivery can be.
The best ceremonies have rhythm.
They make people leave feeling they've been part of something beyond themselves to remember and treasure.
I believe ceremonies should feel like the people at the centre of them—full of personality, meaning and moments that matter. Whether it's a wedding or a celebration of life, I create ceremonies that balance genuine emotion with warmth, creativity and a little bit of fun.
Hi, I'm Carly — a fully trained and qualified independent celebrant with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy.
People often tell me I bring an uplifting energy. It's something I've been known for most of my life, and it's a big part of how I work as a celebrant. I bring that same warmth, curiosity and wholehearted presence to every couple, family and every ceremony.
